Christmas in the Parish

Christmas in the Parish

At the Parish Council meeting last night, the council discussed what could be done to spread some festive cheer. The council agreed to allocate funds towards Christmas activities in the Parish. It is hoped that Santa will make a visit to the Parish, pending an update on restrictions.

The Council recognised and would like to thank Gedling Brough Council who have begun installing the lamp post Christmas lights and the Christmas tree nearly Oak Wood Academy.

Also the Council would like to thank St Albans Community Kitchen which will be open during the School Christmas Holiday. They are doing a amazing job in the community and have received great feedback. For more information please visit:

As there is no meeting in December, on behalf of the Council I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and look forward to working to improve the Parish further in 2021.
